New buoys to aid Onondaga Lake Boaters
The Onondaga Lake Partnership promotes cooperation among government agencies and other parties involved in managing the environmental issues of Onondaga Lake and the Onondaga Lake watershed.

A long history of domestic and industrial pollution has led to serious water quality problems that have altered Onondaga Lake's natural systems and residents' use and enjoyment of the lake. Many efforts are underway to study and solve the Lake's environmental problems. The lake's water quality and waterfront have improved significantly, but serious challenges remain.
