Onondaga Lake Partnership

The Partnership facilitates and coordinates the development and implementation of projects for the environmental restoration, conservation, and management of Onondaga Lake.

The Onondaga Lake Partnership (OLP) was established in 2000 to promote cooperation among government agencies and other parties involved in managing the environmental issues of Onondaga Lake and the Onondaga Lake watershed. The Partnership coordinates development and implementation of improvement projects in accordance with the Onondaga Lake Management Plan and the Amended Consent Judgment (ACJ) to restore, conserve and manage the lake. See What the Onondaga Lake Partnership Does to learn more about the Partnerships mission and function.

Partnership Members

The Partnership consists of federal, state, local, public, and private interests. See Composition and Membership for information on member organizations. Funding for projects is shared between federal and non-federal entities.

Committees

The Onondaga Lake Partnership has established a number of committees to conduct its work of overseeing the activities of agencies and groups involved in improving the lake. See How the Onondaga Lake Partnership Works for more information on the responsibilities and functions of the committees. Meetings of the committees are posted in the OLP Calendar; all posted meetings are open to the public.
