Bring a canoe!

Boats are always in short supply and are a much-needed component of the creek clean up each year. If you are willing to get wet, you can be part of the boat-crew that floats down the creek, pulling up bicycles, shopping carts, tires, and more. The canoes are used to transport this trash to the unloading areas on shore.

Land-lover?

If you would prefer to keep your feet on the shore, become a member of the land-crew. Volunteers working from land help pick up trash along the stream banks and work to unload trash-filled canoes and carry the garbage to nearby dumpsters for disposal.

Details

Please indicate if you are able to bring a boat, and whether you have a preference for the boat-crew or land-crew. Pick-up trucks are also needed. Sorry, no children under the age of 12.

What to bring: Please wear sturdy shoes and work clothes. Gloves, trash bags, and bottled water will be provided.
